Fes to Marrakech 4 days desert tour


4 Days and 3 Night Fez trips through Merzouga to Marrakech Via Caravanserai desert tours
Day 1: Fes, Middelt, Azrou, Ziz Valley and Merzouga (camel trek & Night in Sahara).
Arrival in Fez,The guide is going to pick you up from the airport to your Riad/Hotel.After breakfast, our journey will get started to Middelt passing via Ifrane to Azrou which is blanketed by cedar forest where there are wild monkeys. You will be able to take lovely photos. Lunch will be at Zaida or Middelt. After that, we drive to Ziz Valley via the Atlas Mountains and enjoy seeing the landscapes of Middelt. Then, we ahead to Erfoud city and the of Oasis Tafilalet where there is an old Souk. Thus, we continue to Merzouga where you will ride camels and spend a night in Desert under the stars.
Day 2: Erg Chebbi tour, Nomads and Merzouga.
After taking a pictures of the sunrise and having breakfast, our tour will continue to the Erg Chebbi Dunes where you will discover the beauty of nature, lifestyle of nomads and meet local people who are still living in tents and we enjoy sharing tea with them. After that, we visit Gnaoua for their music. From there we return to hotel for a relaxing ride on camels.
Day 3: Merzouga, Rissani, Erfoud, Todra Gorges and Dades Boumalane.
After seeing the sunrise, we will leave Merzouga heading to Dades via Rissani which is known by its old traditional Market as well as Erfoud for its fossils. Next, we continue to Tinghir through Tinjdad and enjoy seeing Berber villages beside the road. We will also travel to the Todra Gorges where many rock-climbers come to enjoy the sport of climbing in this area. Then, we drive to Boumalne Dades where we will spend the night.
Day 4: Dades, Ouarzazate, Ait Benhaddou, Tizi N’tichka and Marrakech.
After we have breakfast and take shower at Hotel, our journey will continue to Ouarzazate. On the way we will visit the Berber villages and shops containing fossils, carpets and lamps… From here we will travel on to Ouarzazate and should arrive by evening, passing by the Skoura oasis. Next, we continue to Marrakech via Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which has been UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Many movies were filmed there such as the Gladiator (2000), the Mummy (1999)… and Babel (2006). From here we travel to Tizi N’ticka which reaches an altitude of 2260 meters above sea level and is the highest major mountain pass of North Africa.
